The 2nd vinyl release on Burnin Music sees Leonidas and Kay Suzuki (analogue producers and DJs in London's underground music scene), re-join forces to bring you the 2nd installment of their Synqlock project: Synqlock Vol II.
Available on vinyl for the first time, we're very excited and proud to open the EP with 'Interstellar Meditation'
This 11m 30s psychedelic, ambient journey was inspired by, and draws from the duo's Ayahuasca experiences (one of them during a tropical thunder-storm in the Colombian Amazon).
Picking up the pace, we continue our journey through the cosmos with a fresh TR-707-driven acid house track ‘Asteroid (Jackin’ Acid Dub)' - much in the same vein as Synqlock Vol I and aimed straight at the dancefloor.
We dive into side B with ‘Undercurrent’ - a beatless analogue techno workout that will appeal to listening audiences and beat-mixing-house-DJ crowds alike.
The EP concludes with the full length version of ’Asteroid’ - an epic, psychedelic dance journey that manages to seamlessly combine classic house with prog/Kraut-rock and Italo.
On remix duties, Al Kassian unleashes a new side to B-side Undercurrent. Using a simple beat, the track feels tense yet beautiful creating an eerie euphoria in the listener. This track is only available digitally, it won't be included on the 12".
